Moving Out

Moving out in a couple of days.I just have a few boxes, just mostly my personal stuffs (clothes occupied the most containers -- Asawa says it is so woman of me to have many clothes). :p I brought some small appliances like a vacuum cleaner, DVD player, speaker system, and oven toaster.

The cost of moving from Pasay City to Quezon City? P2000

  2. Depends.. there is a room on the fifth floor (no elevator.. you have to walk up) of our condo complex that is fully-furnished for less than P10,000 ... Around P8,000++ I think. This one is studio type.

The unit I am renting cost only P8,500 (ground floor - for Asawa who is older than me). It is not fully furnished but it has more than the basic amenities in the other units.. Has kitchen cabinets, bedroom cabinet, it is one-bedroom, and has the nice chandelier and stuff. :p

Our condo complex is in QC. It doesn't have too many amenities, but it is gated and has a security and roving guards. Gives me peace of mind when I have to leave Asawa for work.

There was an apartelle we rented out in Makati a few months ago, when he was on vacation. P1600 a day .. fully-furnished, EVERYTHING... including silverware, chinaware, and cookware. Has cable TV. They give discounts for long stay.

The places I have mentioned are for couples only.. because they are usually one-room or studio-type only. There are houses for rent but they would cost more.

A friend of mine lives in another QC condo with two bedrooms, furnished with a bed (each), one aircon, one refrigerator and one microwave. P15,000.

I saw a condo unit (two bedrooms) a bit off the main road though but fully furnished for P12000. I guess you can find anything u want only if u have the patience to look around. I hope I helped.

I for one prefer to stay in QC. Air quality is better than in other places in Manila. :)

  4. hi claudette. salamat sa info. last year nagbakasyon kami ng asawa ko sa pinas (after 28 long years of absent) at tumira kami sa cubao, lagi kami nasa labas at namamasyal. tulog lang ang pahinga namin, but it's all worth it kaya sabi ko sa asawa ko na pagnagretire tayo dito na tayo sa pinas. matagal pa ang retirement target date ko pero sabik na akong bumalik diyan. salamat uli sa tulong mo at sana ay maasahan ko uli ang tulong mo in the near future.

  5. Walang problema. :) I am happy you are thinking of coming back here to retire. :) Very few people (Filipinos) don't seem to want to. :) I will help in any way I can.
